| This is my second unit and I have been using this unit for years. I understand why the manufacturer does not make the unit depense too hot as we live in a law-suit craze society. However, if you turn the unit on and wait for the blinking light to stop, which is a relatively short time, then the lather will not be at its optium warmth. I turn the unit on prior to getting into the shower and the lather is more than warm enough to meet my needs by the time I get ready to shave. In any case, it beats using cold lather. |

| I live in an apartment that has luke warm water and had to boil some water to make my shaving jel useable. the Conair does heat the jel so that I don't have to put in boiling water to shave, so for me it's fine.but I do wish it came out hotter,BUT IT IS STILL WORTH THE MONEY.$ 10.00 does not buy much of anything these days. |

| There is no other machine out there that fits my shaving creme. I was happy to get this. Maybe one day we can have the best of all worlds : our favorite shave creme and a hot lather? This one felt cool and different until a month later when I realized it was a nuisance and ineffective. If you buy one, you can always resell it on this site if you reach the same conclusion. |
