| I love this shaving cream. The smell is pleasant and subtle, and it lathers up easily with a good shaving brush. The lather is about the finest I've used in my time as a wet shaver. I bought it at Bath & Body Works at a local mall for $5. Used properly even this small tube will last for a good long while. I've been shaving with the one I have for upwards of two months. I'm in disbeleif, however, to see the same product in the same size retailing for twice what I paid plus shipping. A little history for you fine folks- C.O. Bigelow Shaving Cream is just a re-brand of Proraso, and Italian shaving cream. They're identical in smell, lather, performance and chemical composition. A 5.2oz Proraso shaving cream can be had on Amazon.com for $11, there's no reason to pay $12 for 1oz of this stuff. |

| My wife bought me a small tube and I was reluctant to use it but after the first use of this stuff I was hooked. All you need is a small dollop of cream and apply to the face and you're good to go. I also recommend to get a shave brush as well to get the best use of this cream. My method of shaving. - Wet the face with hot water - soak a shave brush with hot water and remove access water - apply a dollop of the shave cream to the brush and mix in a shave bowl till the brush is ready - use the brush to apply on face - shave with the grain of you beard - apply another layer of cream to the face (should not have to add anymore cream) - shave at an angle or against the grain for a baby soft felling - Splash cold water to the face and pat dry - add after shave. - enjoy your day. |
